Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett may want to come up with a better play card plan, because during Sunday night’s broadcast of the Dallas-Philadephia game NBC showed it off to all of America.
Twitter user @JeffShafer grabbed the below screen cap of the play card. You can see on the bottom right hand side a green section titled , “2 Minute Alerts vs. Philadelphia Eagles.” It appears to include scheming from the Eagles that Garrett and the Cowboys needed to be aware of in the final two minutes of play.
As Cork Gaines of Business Insider points out, there’s no telling whether the Eagles caught wind of this. It is interesting, however, that the game ended with Philadelphia running man-to-man coverage, while the alerts show that the Eagles usually run zone during this time period.
Philadelphia intercepted Kyle Orton to end the game and advance to the playoffs. Dallas will once again be watching the postseason from home.
