Dalvin Cook flips commitment from Florida to FSU

Florida State continued to flex its muscles on Tuesday night, landing 2014 running back recruit Dalvin Cook. The 5’11, 192-pound five-star prospect flipped his commitment from the Gators to the Seminoles.

Cook, who is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 2 running back and No. 30 overall player, first committed to Florida last April, but as of late was wavering between FSU and Miami.

Florida head coach Will Muschamp will now be tasked with trying to hold on to 2014′s No. 6-ranked wide receiver, Ermon Lane.

For a team like Florida that desperately needs offensive playmakers, the loss of a prospect with the talent of Cook is a big blow. The last thing Muschamp needs is for FSU to also pull Lane from the Gators.
