The Golden State Warriors suffered a five-year playoff drought until finally earning a six-seed in 2013. Unfortunately, their chances of advancing past the Denver Nuggets in the first round took a major hit with the news of the extent of forward David Lee’s injury.
One of the most tenacious big men in the league right now, the former Florida Gators’ star will miss the remainder of the postseason after tearing his right hip flexor on Sunday night.

Making matters worse, Lee had fantastic numbers against Denver during the regular season.

According to CBS Sports, Lee reportedly felt a “pop”, a situation which generally results in surgery.
