The No. 6-rated player in the state of Ohio, Derek Kief, announced in a special ceremony on Sunday that he will be leaving Big Ten country for the next 3-5 years of his life. Instead, Kief will be headed to the nation’s most decorated program over the last half-decade.
The 6-foot-5, 198-pounder is the No. 32 wide receiver in the entire country, and he will be taking his talents to none other than Tuscaloosa.
He chose Alabama over such programs as Ohio State, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Louisville, and several others.
