Dominic Raiola wants to moon Packers fans on Sunday

Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola has played in Green Bay every year for the last 13 – and he has never left northern Wisconsin with a win. To make matters worse, some Packers fans have made it a tradition to moon the visiting team’s bus after games.

The point? Raiola has never been on the good side of a Green Bay mooning, and the man wants to change that.

“Going there — I go before the buses go there — maybe I should go moon somebody this week on the way there in the car that we take early.”

That sounds like some good ol’ innocent fun. However, Raiola then goes on to show us why the Lions are who they are – a talented team that might be a bit too hot-headed for their own good.

“Well, usually you’re (ticked) off when you leave there because you don’t win. Let me out of this (bleeping) bus.’ Yeah, you get mooned. It’s like, ‘Get me the (expletive) out of this bus so I can go put my hands on somebody.’ ”

Perhaps he should be channeling that aggression towards the actual Packers and not their fans. Maybe that way he might actually end up on the right side of the scoreboard sometime this decade.

Then again, maybe he just needs to find his way into the end zone, a la Randy Moss in his early days with another NFC Central rival, the Vikings.
