Eagles’ big performance against Redskins impressed Kobe Bryant, Lebron James

They said it couldn’t be done. That it was too gimmicky, that it wouldn’t be reasonable against a professional (and well-conditioned) defense. But then it happened.

Chip Kelly’s high-octane, run-a-play-every-20-seconds-offense worked. It really worked. Michael Vick looked like his old self, LeSean McCoy was running wild and the Eagles defense handled RGIII and the rest of the Washington Redskins offense.

Needless to say, most observers were impressed. That includes two stars that know a thing or two about pushing the pace.

Of course, the Monday Night Football showdown between the new-look Eagles and the expected-to-be-great Redskins was not exactly roses for everyone.
