The Philadelphia Eagles are breaking out a new look this season, and we’re not just talking about newly hired coach Chip Kelly’s high-octane offense.

We’re also talking about someone who’s going to be helping make Kelly’s game plan go, and that player’s offseason addiction to the History Channel.

Allow us to present the new haircut of Todd Herremans, the 6-foot-6, 312-pounder that is looking to fit right in at training camp – or a 10th century Scandinavian battle, either way. Herremans reported to training camp with a haircut inspired by the History Channel’s “Vikings” hit and, well, it’s pretty awesome.

Via Philadelphia Inquirer:

“I got really into the History Channel, that show Vikings, and that’s where I got it from,” Herremans said of the shaved look. “So I’ve just been going with it. My girlfriend does it.”

What are the chances the original Vikings from back in the day sat down and had their girlfriends do their hair? Just asking.
