If there is any man in America trying to win a job, it’s USC interim coach Ed Orgeron. Since taking over following Lane Kiffin’s firing, Orgeron has coached the program to a 4-1 record. Not only has he won games, but he’s made the Trojans look respectable in the process.
During the process of turning the team around, Orgeron has made sure to take time to share his appreciation with members of the USC community. On Wednesday night USC marching band tweeted out the following photo. Orgeron personally thanked each and every band member with a hand written letter.

Coach “O” clearly has the Spirit of Troy.
He’s made a strong case for USC to hire him as the Trojans’ official head coach. If USC can knock off No. 4 Stanford on Saturday, you might as well slap his name on the office door.
