Since being paralyzed on the playing field in college, LeGrand has become an activist for people with spinal injuries. In recent years he has started his own foundation, been named the Star Ledger’s most influential person in New Jersey sports, joined SUBWAY’s ad campaigns, and become the first Rutgers football player to have his number retired.
Now he can add Super Bowl attendee to the list.
