The Indianapolis Colts traveled down to Nashville for a Thursday night game against the Tennessee Titans. Deep in the second quarter play got chippy, as the Colts’ Erik Walden head-butted Titans tight end Delanie Walker.
With Indianapolis trailing 14-3 in the quarter, Walker and Walden started jawing at each other. Walker made the strategic mistake of talking trash without his helmet. As soon as he got in reach, Walden landed a head-butt. Walker then landed a quick punch before the players were separated.
Referees were lenient of the extracurriculars; neither player was ejected from the game.
