Dolphins rookie, ‘fat guy’ AJ Francis wants to be in ESPN’s next Body Issue

Former Maryland Terrapins defensive lineman A.J. Francis (96) would definitely make for a unique few photos in a future edition of ESPN’s “Body Issue” (Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports)

After starting all four seasons at multiple positions on Maryland’s defensive line, AJ Francis signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins.

That officially makes Francis a professional athlete at the highest level of his sport.

So why didn’t anyone approach the 6-foot-5, 309-pounder about showing off his pro-level bod in ESPN’s “Body Issue?”

 

 

Heck, if a 77-year old Gary Player can shed his threads for the Mag, why can’t a 300-plus pounder?
