Final AP top 25 college football poll for 2013-14 released

Welcome back to the top, Florida State. The final AP top 25 college football poll was released a day after the Seminoles laid claim to the national championship.

Auburn, who lost to FSU, finished the season ranked No. 2. Despite the defeat, it was a monumental turnaround for the Tigers, who won just three games in 2012.

After an impressive win over Stanford in the Rose Bowl, Michigan State climbed to No. 3

South Carolina checked in at No. 4, finishing in the top five for the first time in program history.

Missouri capped off a spectacular turnaround season with a Cotton Bowl victory over Oklahoma State and a No. 5 final ranking.
