Florida Gators welcome nine early enrollees for 2014

With each passing day, the 2013 seasons fades further into the rearview for the Florida Gators. On Monday, Will Muschamp and the new coaches met with the media for the first time since shuffling the staff. The Gators announced that nine players from the 2014 recruiting class were already on campus.

Three of the early enrollees are defensive players, while the other six are offensive, which bodes well for new OC Kurt Roper. The more time Roper is given to develop the young talent, the better off the Gators will be heading into next season. As Muschamp stated, all positions are open heading into 2014, meaning freshman have the chance to grab some playing time, if not a starting spot.
