While most folks in America were enjoying the outdoors on Memorial Day weekend, the Florida Gators were doing what they do best: taking care of business. In order to easily brief Gator Nation on what the Orange and Blue have been up to, below are the highlights from the past few days.

Florida baseball earned the No. 2 national seed for this year’s Road To Omaha. It is their 5th national seed in the past 7 years, which is the most in the country. This ranking comes despite losing the SEC Tournament championship game to LSU, 0-2. The Tigers were rewarded with the No. 8 national seed.

UF will host the College of Charleston in the Gainesville Regional on Friday, May 30. The other two teams in the Gainesville bracket are North Carolina and Long Beach State.

Florida went Red, White and Blue for the SEC title game against LSU.

UF wasted no time updating McKethan Stadium.

On Monday the post-season awards poured in for the Gators.

Florida softball powered to an impressive, walk-off home run rubber match victory over Washington to advance to the Women’s College World Series on Sunday. It is UF’s sixth appearance in the last seven WCWS, missing only the 2012 season.

Here are highlights of the final game between Florida and Washington.

WWE wrestler and former Florida football player Titus O’Neil stays repping the Orange and Blue.

And because we all need a little football in our life: we are officially 95 days away until the Gators kick off the 2014 season. If you haven’t scooped up tickets yet, online seat selection for new season ticket purchases have opened up.
