On Monday, Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp addressed the media for the first time since completing his offseason coaching hires. During the press conference, Muschamp touched on numerous aspects of the program, including the hires, injuries and new commits.
One of the more notable soundbites to come from the press conference was the coach’s stance on starters entering Spring practice.
“Every position is open. When you go 4-8, it’s all open.” — Muschamp to question about starting QB position

Muschamp has no disillusions about the challenges he and the team face. By bringing in Kurt Roper as offensive coordinator, and having healthy playmakers, the Gators should present a more explosive offense than the one Florida fielded in 2013. Below is the coach’s full press conference.
