In an effort to keep up with the elite programs in college football, as well as having a controllable environment, Florida State has been constructing a state-of-the-art indoor practice facility for it’s football program. The $15 million Albert J. Dunlap Athletic Training Facility will be one of the best practice facilities in college football and certainly help head coach Jimbo Fisher in the recruiting game.
While the turf inside the 92,000 square foot building is being rolled out this weekend, the new outdoor fields have been completed. Project architect Doug Barlowe told Florida Today, “the project is probably about 90 percent complete, total, with everything.”
The Miami Herald posted these pictures of the facility yesterday.
Florida State also posted this video in 2011 about the indoor practice facility campaign.
