The Miami Hurricanes have enjoyed an unprecedented run of success on the hardwood this season, reaching as high as No. 2 in the national polls for the first time in program history.

The Canes’ Magic Bus suffered a flat tire on Wednesday night, however. With the score knotted at 69-apiece and literally less than one second remaining, Marcus Georges-Hunt tipped in the game-winning basket, handing The U its first conference home loss of the season, 71-69.

If the game had been played in Atlanta, this one would have been storm-the-court-worthy. Instead, the Yellow Jackets partied down on the Canes’ home floor, which may have been even sweeter.
