Midway through the fourth quarter of Minnesota’s Thursday night game against the Washington Redskins, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson decided his squad needed to burn a little more clock. In other words, the best running back in the universe decided to take the game over.
Peterson went full-on “beast mode” on a 2nd-and-13 run up the gut against the Redskins.
At just 1-7 entering the game, the Vikings needed a full dose of Peterson in order to find the win column again. This run helped lead the Vikes to a field goal, and a 34-27 victory.
