With the Los Angeles Kings trailing 2-1 on Monday night, goalie Jonathan Quick played a puck away from the net. The direction that Quick sent the puck was not exactly the best location on the ice.
Quick’s stick slipped out of his hand and as he bent down to collect the puck, it ricocheted off his glove and into the back of the net. The goal gave the Rangers’ the final 3-1 win, and it gave defender Ryan McDonagh a 163-foot score.
In hilarious fashion, the Kings’ Twitter account responded by not responding.
