Luis Scola stops playing defense and watches LeBron drive for a dunk

I’m sure critics and coaches will lay into Luis Scola for his defense on LeBron James. After all, he does stop guarding LeBron and let him fly by for a nasty dunk.

However, I can’t kill Scola for the lack of defense. That’s the way I’d play the King on every possession: d-up for a few seconds, remember that I’m guarding the best player in the world, then watch him do something magical.

Maybe Scola just got lost in the moment. Besides, he wasn’t the reason for the and-one.
