Following a scoreless first quarter in Washington, D.C., the San Diego Chargers struck first early in the second quarter on a crazy play. Standing in his own end zone, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III launched a pass with the pocket collapsing around him.
Chargers defensive end Lawrence Guy stuck one of his massive paws up in the air and deflected the throw. The football bounced off a second player’s back before a third, Sean Lissemore, hauled it in for a catch.
When all was said and done, not only did Lissemore have himself a pick-six, but a fat-guy touchdown as well. Not bad at all.
