Former Alabama running back Eddie Lacy was known as “Circle Button” for his great spin move, but it was his successor for the Tide, T.J. Yeldon, doing it right against Ole Miss on Saturday night.
Yeldon spun an Ole Miss defender right out of his shoes en route to a 68-yard touchdown scamper. The play served as the only score of the third quarter, putting Alabama up 16-0 at the time. Coach Nick Saban’s squad went on to shut out the Rebels, 25-0, paced by Yeldon’s 121 yards on 17 carries.
