Jason Day’s Errant Shot Yields A Search Party

Jason Day went on adventure at the second hole of Saturday’s PGA Championship round. An errant tee shot led Day, his caddie and even David Feherty on a search party over the river and through the wood.

Once the ball was spied, Day shed his shoes, rolled up his pants and crossed the stream. After his caddie tossed a club to the far bank, Day was all about that action, boss. He chunked it out from the brush, and eventually saved par on what will likely be the most adventurous hole of the day.

Pat Forde summed up the entire escapade perfectly.
