Google has released a list of the most searched MLB players in the U.S. for 2013. To little surprise, Alex Rodriguez was the top baseball player searched – even though he only played in 44 games and had just over 150 at bats.

Three of the top 10 played for the New York Yankees, while half of the list came from the American League East. Only three of the 10 players are from the National League. Perhaps the most interesting part of the breakdown is that the list is bookended by two of the biggest cheaters in the modern game.

Below are the top 10 most searched MLB players from 2013:

  1. Alex Rodriguez
  2. Miguel Cabrera
  3. Bryce Harper
  4. Yasiel Puig
  5. Derek Jeter
  6. Mariano Rivera
  7. Chris Davis
  8. David Ortiz
  9. Brian Wilson
  10. Ryan Braun
