Johnny Manziel shocked the college football world in becoming the very first freshman to take home the coveted Heisman Trophy.

Now, as he prepares for his encore presentation as a redshirt sophomore in College Station, Manziel also prepares to take a run at becoming just the second player ever to win two Heisman Trophies in the history of the award.

However, it is not going to be easy. There are a number of elite-level quarterbacks throughout the nation all primed to put up huge numbers, there are a few running backs who made names for themselves last year who are primed to burst into the stratosphere, and there is one of the best wide receivers and one of the best defensive ends the nation has seen in a long time.

Heisman Pundit put together its annual list of Trophy favorites following the culmination of the nation’s spring football games.

Did your player make the 28-man list?
