The 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Champions will be the 75th team awarded such an honor. The first trophy went to the 1938-1939 Oregon Ducks, and the “Firs” were thus awarded the first ever NCAA Men’s Basketball tourney trophy. Maybe the Ducks will be raising this year’s hardware. All we know is that we still have a lot of basketball left to play.

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Tournament, organizers broke out the first ever trophy and put it next to this year’s hardware, which will be raised by the 2013 winner in early April.

What do you think about the two trophies? Pretty mind blowing? Let us know in the comments section below!
