Indianapolis Power lights up for Peyton Manning during Super Bowl weekend

Peyton Manning spent the better part of his career suiting up for the Indianapolis Colts, winning one Super Bowl while in Indy. Despite the fact that he’s now suiting up for the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL) has not lost love for the quarterback. IPL will shine bright in support of Manning for the Super Bowl all weekend long.

The company released the following on its website on Friday:

Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL) is recognizing #18 this weekend as the former Indianapolis Colts quarterback, Peyton Manning, plays in Super Bowl XLVII. Beginning tonight, IPL’s 10-story downtown Indianapolis headquarters will shine brightly with the number 18.

Also, during the month of February, IPL will recognize the Indiana Pacers with a “P” in the windows during all home games, and recognize American Heart Month and Valentine’s Day with the shape of a heart.

IPL’s light display consists of energy-efficient, long-lasting bulbs and is controlled via a computer. Each window in the IPL building holds one LED luminar which has a set of 12 red, green and blue LED lights. When mixed together, the computer controller can produce more than 16 million different hues.

Following is what Indianapolis residents will be seeing beginning Friday night.
