Jacksonville Jaguars receive approval for new scoreboards

Contrary to popular belief, good news still exists for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

On Wednesday the Associated Press reported that the Jaguars have been approved for a massive upgrade to EverBank Field’s scoreboards. The addition is said to cost $63 million, and after all is said and done, Jacksonville will be home to the largest scoreboards in the world.

The city has been rumored to make a push to host the College Football Playoff in the future. In order to compete with cities such as Dallas, Phoenix and New Orleans, Jacksonville will have to improve the current amenities offered.

The project will take an estimated seven months, beginning in January.
