South Carolina’s superstar defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is looking forward to making history in his third year on campus. After popping Vincent Smith’s helmet off in the Outback Bowl, his face has been everywhere, and the momentum is building to make him the first exclusively defensive player to win the Heisman Trophy.

However, that is simply one school of thought — another is the feeling that Clowney should sit out the entire 2013 season, preparing himself for the 2014 NFL Draft and avoiding any catastrophic injury in the process.
