Jamaal Charles played his way into the NFL history books during the Chiefs’ blowout victory over the Raiders. He became the first player to have four receiving and one rushing touchdown in the same game.

The Chiefs beat the Raiders, 56-31, as Charles played like a man possessed. The running back totaled 20 yards rushing and 195 yards receiving. The five touchdowns was one short of the NFL record, held by Ernie Nevers, Dub Jones and Gale Sayers. Charles tied the Chiefs record for touchdowns in a game.

With the win, Kansas City kept pace with the Broncos in the AFC West. The Chiefs will need help in order to win the division outright, however, due to Denver sweeping the season series. Kansas City’s final two games are against the Colts and Chargers.
