Back-to-back miracle victories for Auburn to end the regular season have earned the Tigers the “team of destiny” moniker. No matter how down and out Gus Malzahn’s squad has appeared to be, the Tigers have found a way to win.
Despite what seems to be a guardian angel sitting on Auburn’s shoulder, Jameis Winston isn’t buying the “team of destiny” talk. In fact, the Heisman Trophy winner is confident that his Florida State Seminoles are the only team in the title game strong enough to control destiny.
