Good news via Scott Carter (GatorZone.com) on Wednesday morning. Redshirt junior LB Jelani Jenkins has been cleared to play Saturday against LSU.

Jenkins missed the last two games (Tennessee and Kentucky) after suffering a broken right thumb against Texas A&M in the second game of the year.

According to Muschamp:

“I feel very comfortable that he’ll be able to go and how much will sort of depend as we progress from here to Saturday,’’ Muschamp said. “We’ll still determine that through the week, but I mean he’ll be able to play in all situations.

“We wouldn’t necessarily limit it right now in my eyes as we move forward. If he can play, he can play, and that means he can play on first-and-10 and he can play on third down.”

Welcome back Jelani!
