When the basketball pundits start debating this season’s NBA First Team, this video should go a long way for Joakim Noah. He’s a one-man wrecking crew on the fast break.
Noah plays perfect help defense, stealing the ball. Then he shows off some handles with a lanky (but effective) spin move to lead the break. From there, he uses a nice ball fake before finishing off the layup. Nobody else touches the ball.
Chicago plays team ball in all phases of the game. However, if you want a reason why they’re not only in playoff contention, but in the running for a home court series, look no further than Noah. He is the heart and soul of a team that could’ve crumbled once Derrick Rose went down.
