John Harbaugh’s hilarious response to Adrian Peterson’s criticism of fans

Following Minnesota’s loss to Baltimore, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson took to Twitter to voice his frustrations.

Peterson was particularly upset with Ravens fans, whom he called the worst in the NFL, for throwing snowballs.

On Monday, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh responded to Peterson’s criticism with one of the best lines of the season:

“Who doesn’t throw snowballs when it snows?” Harbaugh said with a chuckle. “Maybe in Minnesota because they’re so used to snow, maybe that’s gotten old for them.”

According to Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com, media members present laughed in response to Harbaugh’s comment.

Harbaugh couldn’t have disagreed with Peterson more in regards to Baltimore’s fan base, which he called the best in the NFL.

“What do you want me to say?” Harbaugh said. “We have the best fans in the NFL, I can tell you that.”

“The fans were really tremendous,” Harbaugh said. “With all the excitement, that was something that maybe was overlooked a little bit. Our fans were really great. We had a pretty darn good crowd there for the weather, people made it there. It was almost full, I think. … They’re probably pretty glad they came.”

The Ravens topped the Vikings, 29-26, in a snooze fest that turned into a thrilling game in the fourth quarter.
