Prior to the 2013 season, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was investigated and heavily scrutinized for allegedly accepting money to sign autographs. He was suspended for half a game for something he may or may not have done.
Now that the 2013 season is winding down, it only seems fitting that some sort of Johnny Manziel autograph news would surface.
Currently listed on Amazon is an authentic Manziel autograph. It is being sold for $179.99. According to the description, only two are left in stock. The autograph is being sold by Press Pass Collectibles.
Before the mainstream media blows this into something much larger, Manziel is free to sign whatever he wants as a college athlete, as long as he doesn’t accept anything in return. Third parties are also allowed to sell his autographs should they so desire.
In approximately five short months, Manziel will no longer have to worry about any of the NCAA’s questionable policies.
