Johnny Manziel tees it up at Pebble Beach, cue the Twitter haters

Texas A&M’s Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel posted the above photo of the seventh hole at Pebble Beach to his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

It is, unquestionably, a beautiful shot of a historic course, and one might assume the story should end there.

However, when it comes to Johnny Football and social media, nothing ever simply “ends there.”

First, none other than ESPN sports business reporter and ABC News correspondent Darren Rovell seemed to take umbrage with the pricey pic.

Here, once again, it could have been over. There would have been plenty of folks commenting on it, providing their own opinions on the subject, but Manziel himself could have just left his smartphone in his pocket.

Nope.

Not intense enough for you?

Were you hoping for some real drama, something cutthroat to take with you to the office? Well, Manziel did retweet one hater, if only to help point out the grammatical flaws this guy is dealing with.

Basically, here’s one hater who would have been far better served studying, working to better himself, and eventually making enough money to afford his own round at Pebble Beach.

Instead, he was busy sitting at home, ripping on a guy who obviously works hard enough to win trophies.

Not that the record-setting Aggies signal-caller is letting it get to him.

So there you have it, boys and girls, a day in the life of Johnny Manziel’s Twitter account.

We’d feel bad, but then again, Manziel did get to spend his day at Pebble Beach, so it’s not like we can give him too much sympathy.
