Report: Jordan-Hare Stadium suffered $25,000 in damage after Iron Bowl

Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium reportedly incurred $25,000 worth of damage following the Iron Bowl. After Chris Davis’s miraculous return propelled his team to victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide, thousands of Tigers fans flooded Pat Dye Field.

According to WRBL News 3, repairs are needed for damaged turf, trampled hedges and a broken play clock. Maintenance workers spent the majority of Monday cleaning the aftermath.

Between the repairs to Jordan-Hare, the cleaning of Toomer’s Corner and the never-ending celebration, university plant workers had a busy beginning to the work week.

Below are pictures of the cleanup.
