Josh Beckett Throws No-Hitter: Final Out And Celebration

Josh Beckett finished off his no-hitter against the Phillies on Sunday with a punch-out of Chase Utley. Beckett’s no-no was the first of the 2014 season, the 283rd in MLB history, and was probably a little extra special since he out-dueled former teammate AJ Burnett.

Here’s another look¬†at the final out, along with the celebration.

In nine innings Beckett gave up no hits, with only three walks and six strikeouts. He’s now 3-1 on the season with a 2.43 ERA.
