Call us old-school, call us fashion backwards, call us what you will. All we know is that Colin Kaepernick is wearing a bright yellow cardigan along with football pants for a feature in GQ magazine set to hit newsstands next Tuesday.
If this is the last time we see such a combination, that will be fantastic.
Honestly, we know: The San Francisco 49ers quarterback, with a solid 2013, will be an unquestioned superstar. He’s got the chiseled physique, the slick tattoos (we’re definitely not among the camp of ink-haters over here) and just the overall swagger to star at the international level. We’re just not the biggest fans of his fashion decision in this case.
Kaepernick’s cover is actually the alternate for the GQ’s 2013 NFL season preview. He and Washington Redskins superstar Robert Griffin III are each on a version of the mag’s front.
