Florida freshman point guard Kasey Hill went down with an injury against Southern on Monday night. Hill was driving to the hoop when he rolled his left ankle in the second half.
He fell to the court in pain before being helped off and into the locker room.
With Scottie Wilbekin still suspended, Hill was Florida’s only point guard available on the roster. The Gators turned to Michael Frazier II in Hill’s absence.
At the time of his exit, Hill had totaled eight points and three assists.
*UPDATE* Billy Donovan confirmed that Kasey Hill suffered a high ankle sprain and will miss at least a month.
#Gators coach Billy Donovan said Kasey Hill is out at least a month with a high ankle sprain.
