The Kentucky Derby is known for several things, including mint juleps, giant hats on pretty girls, a party in the infield and, of course, an epic horse race.

Oh yeah, and cash, lots of it, changing hands throughout the day as men and women, young and old, place their bets on the ponies they see winning the nation’s most prestigious race.
