Kevin Sumlin to be named honorary WWE World Heavyweight Champion on Sunday

Do you smell what Sumlin’s cooking? (Thomas Campbell-USA TODAY Sports)

Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin made waves in his first year at the helm of the Aggies. He coached the team to a Cotton Bowl victory and Johnny “Football” Manziel to a Heisman Trophy, the first ever won by a freshman.

Simply put, Sumlin has won a lot of things.

The latest accomplishment to be bestowed upon the offensive mastermind, however, may just be the greatest.

Sumlin will be named an honorary World Heavyweight Champion by WWE on Sunday, Feb. 24, according to Aggie Athletics.

The wrestling league is bringing its show to Texas A&M’s Reed Arena on Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m., but before they kick off the event, they will present Sumlin with the greatest accomplishment of his entire career (or something like that).

Coach Sumlin is pumped, the 12th Man is pumped, now it’s just time to rumble.

The only question left is, do you smell what Sumlin is cooking?
