LSU head coach Les Miles announced during a Monday press conference that Tigers freshman linebacker, Kwon Alexander, will miss the remainder of the regular season.
Alexander, who started the past two games for the Tigers, suffered a broken right foot in the third quarter of LSU’s 14-6 loss to Florida. He replaced junior Luke Muncie, who reportedly came down with a stomach illness after the third game of the season.
In just two starts of his young career, Alexander showed his potentional, tallying 11 total tackles, a forced fumble and recovering a fumble.
According to Miles, there is hope that Alexander will return for the bowl season.
