Texas A&M Regent: Name Kyle Field ‘The House that Johnny Built’

In his three years at Texas A&M, Johnny Manziel resurrected the Aggies and put the football program back on the national map. With Manziel’s help, the Aggies’ recent success has led to a massive, multi-million dollar renovation of Kyle Field. When completed, the stadium will be one of the largest in the country.

That reason could very well be why Texas A&M regent Jim Schwertner wants the stadium to be named after Manziel. According to San Antonio Express-News’ Brent Zwerneman, Schwertner is calling for the stadium to be coined, “Kyle Field: The House that Johnny Built.”

Talk about making a name for yourself. It’ll be interesting to see if any other Texas A&M members hop on Schwertner’s platform to name the stadium after Manziel.
