Remember the days when talking heads on TV fretted over whether or not a teenaged LeBron would ever be able to hit a big shot? In case you’re drawing a blank, basically, those are so far in the past we tend to forget they ever even happened.
With the Heat and Celtics tied on Monday night, and Miami’s 22-game win-streak in jeopardy, Bron pulled up for a jumper. It was his only option, really, after he was stopped at the rim on the team’s three previous possessions by the Celtics’ star of the night, Jeff Green.
Luckily, Bron Bron’s been working on his jumper. He bagged the the 15-footer with just over 10 seconds left, providing the final two points in the team’s 105-103 victory.
After going down by as many as 17 points, the night ended with the team’s 23rd-straight victory. It is the second-longest winning streak in NBA history, and yet again, James provided the difference.
