Once upon a time, fans and the media were questioning whether or not LeBron James could win the big one. Following the 2010 season, James was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat, where he was expected to win big right away.
Then came the 2011 NBA Finals. James collapsed as the Dallas Mavericks hoisted the championship trophy on the Heat’s home floor. It was the last time the King had tasted defeat to end a season. Since then, he has won back-to-back championships, MVPs and Finals MVPs.
While he’ll never be able to get that performance from 2011 back, at least he’s come to the point where he can crack a good joke about it. When one fan asked him on Twitter how to get his baby to fall asleep, James sent the following joke.
