Les Miles thinks Johnny Manziel is college football’s best player

Les Miles and No. 22 LSU welcome Johnny Manziel and No. 12 Texas A&M into Tiger Stadium on Saturday. It’s likely to be the only time Manziel will play in Death Valley, and Miles knows exactly what his Tigers are up against.

While discussing the upcoming game, Miles was straight to the point with regards to how good he thinks Manziel is. The Mad Hatter stated, “If there’s a better player in college football, I’d like to know who he is.”

While Jameis Winston continues to impress with Florida State, Manziel has put together arguably the best season by a quarterback in the country.

On the season, Manziel is 230-for-315 for 3,313 yards (73% completion), 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He’s also added 611 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground in 110 carries.

Manziel now has two games, road contests against both LSU and Missouri, to further impress the country. If he comes out of both road trips with victories, voters may not have a choice but to crown Manziel college football’s most outstanding player once again.
