Anyone up for racing old-man Michael Vick in the 40-yard dash? If you said no, that’s a good thing, because apparently Vick’s speed is as young and vibrant as LeSean McCoy.

McCoy, the Eagles starting tailback, decided to challenge his elder to a race and it didn’t work out too well for him. Eagles safety Colt Anderson shared this tweet with the world on Thursday.

The beat down didn’t end on the field, however. No, Vick took to Twitter to taunt his teammate following the race.

But don’t just take Vick’s word for it. NBC Sports’ Mike Florio recounts the race.

McCoy had been riding Vick for weeks, calling him “old man” and challenging Vick to a footrace.  Vick had been laughing it off, until today.

Today, Vick had enough.  So he asked coach Chip Kelly if he could accept McCoy’s invitation.  Kelly agreed.

So they lined up and took off, and Vick didn’t just beat McCoy.  Vick smoked McCoy by roughly five yards over a 40-yard distance, and their teammates went nuts.

While McCoy’s pride may be a little bruised right now, come season he’ll want Vick running circles around everyone on the field.
