We already knew that Billy D had built a NBA factory at the University of Florida, but what we may not have realized is just how many of our former ballers are making a significant impact in the league.

The regular season drew to a close on Wednesday night and the eight spots for the Eastern and Western Conference Playoffs, respectively, are officially set.

In total, the Orange ‘n Blue will be represented by eight players in this year’s run at an NBA championship.

  • Al Horford -Atlanta Hawks
  • Joakim Noah – Chicago Bulls
  • David Lee – Golden State Warriors
  • Chandler Parsons – Houston Rockets
  • Mike Miller – Miami Heat
  • Udonis Haslem – Miami Heat
  • Corey Brewer – Denver Nuggets
  • Matt Bonner – San Antonio Spurs

It’s going to be fun to watch all of these Gators navigate the waters of postseason play.

No matter who lifts the trophy at the end, it’s GREAT to be a Florida Gator.
