What seems like nearly a decade career at the University of Florida has finally come to an end for Gators redshirt junior offensive tackle Matt Patchan.
The former five-star recruit, and son of a Miami Hurricane, started eight games and played in 27 during his career in the Orange ‘n Blue.
Patchan, whose career has been riddle with injuries, came into Florida on the defensive side of the ball, but was later transferred to the offensive line.
According to The Gainesville Sun, he will transfer to either Ohio State or Boston College. Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer recruited Patchan to Gainesville, and Eagles new coach Steve Addazio was his position coach at UF.
From the Gator Nation, we wish Matt the best of luck with his future.
